ADOLESCENT & ADULT DOG OBEDIENCE CLASSES: Good Manners: Teach your dog to walk well on leash, sit politely to greet people, wait at gates & doors, leave it, heel & more. Communicate effectively - help your dog pay attention, even with distractions. Become a better leader for your dog. Understand the uses of reinforcement & punishment & how dogs learn new commands. 5 Wks, Max 5, Over 6 Mos, $99
Using Play for Training Good Manners: We will teach: Drop It, Sit & Wait for Toss of Toy, Tug- of-War Etiquette, No Teeth on Humans, & A Fun Trick. In her Family-Friendly Dog Training book, Patricia McConnell writes:" Play can enhance your relationship, increase your dog's willingness to do what you ask, teach emotional control, and in general make it a lot more fun . . .
