AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy Program: Perfect for the new puppy owner without
alot of prior experience. Give your puppy a head start toward
Good Citizenship!
Basic Obedience, Life Skills and AKC S.T.A.R.puppy testing in one comprehensive course.
Topics covered include: Developing an exercise plan to meet your puppy's needs, social skills with
people and other puppies, sit, down, come, stay, walking on loose lead, bite inhibition,
teaching your puppy to be happy being handled and examined, and greeting people without jumping!
Instructor: Cherie Maitland   First week humans only.

    Puppy Kindergarten:  Teach come, sit to greet people, walk calmly on leash, help with
    puppy issues including puppy biting, house training and more!  Playtime for compatible puppies. For 3-8
    months and small friendly older dogs. Dogs play with tunnels and jumps to build confidence and have fun!!
    Learn how to prevent certain puppy  problems and be a kind and benevolent leader!! Groups are kept

Puppy Manners and Issues: Help your puppy pay attention even with distractions.  Teach come, sit to greet people,
walking calmly on leash and wait. Help with puppy biting, house training and other issues facing puppies and their owners. Off-leash
playtime for compatible puppies. For puppies 4-10 months with the first 2 of their shot series. Learn how to prevent certain puppy problems
and be a kind and benevolent leader!!
Groups are kept small for individual coaching and time for QUESTIONS and ANSWERS.

Down to Basics: Build on what you learned in Puppy class or get a fresh start with an older dog! Sit, down, come, stay,
walking on leash, wait and even tricks! Strengthen your understanding of how to get the best from your dog.

Good Manners: Teach your dog to walk well on leash, sit politely to greet people, wait at gates and doors, leave it, heel and
more. Communicate effectively - help your dog pay attention, even with distractions. Become a better leader for your dog. Understand the
uses of reinforcement and punishment, and how dogs learn new commands.

Drop-In Training Practice: A great opportunity to drop into a few classes and get personalized and professional
training help in a small group. Geared towards the adolescent or adult dog who has had their puppy training! Topics can include just about
anything except for more serious behavioral problems. Come practice your dog's down-stays with distractions, sit to greet, heel, come, wait .
. . whatever you want to improve.
Call 622-PUPS first to make sure there is room on the particular day you want to drop in. Max 4 Dogs,

R.E.S.P.E.C.T. Class - Improving Our Bond & Mutual Understanding
In this special class, use fun games, walking on leash, wait, stay  and other obedience training,  plus a Nothing in Life is Free
Program to create a strong bond plus mutual respect and understanding with your dog,

Learn how to implement
Leadership Behaviors with your puppy or adult dog. Use Body Blocks like dogs use and teach your
dog to yield the right of way. Give and take away attention and petting based on your dogs actions. Become the best leader,
teacher, guide and protector that you can be!

Intermediate Obedience and Prepare for the Canine Good Citizen Test:  Pick
up where you left off in Basic Obedience classes. Improve your training skills as well as your dog's obedience. Focus on heel, plus come
and stay with increasing distractions and added distance away.

Canine College - Advanced Training:   After Intermediate Obedience, take your dog to college!! Head towards an
off-leash heel and use games for fun and training. A change of pace from a traditional obedience class. Improve your dog's performance,
stay, distance down and more. Class can be repeated since it is always changing based on the needs of the students. Great program to get
ready for your Treibball classes!!
